In Case You Wanted to Know...

It's dawned on me that I've picked up a number of new readers, who don't know much about the person who started this blog nearly 500 posts ago.

So.. for the very few who have wondered I have compiled some individual posts that I did.. most of them I wrote a long time ago over in aol (at that time please note that they did NOT have spell check!.. sorry about that)

Anyway.. I've put the posts under "catagories" in case something hits your fancy, and I've tried to put a few words on what it's about so you don't waste your time. I know some might say that they can just click on archives, which is true but for anyone not on high speed that would be awful, because I use alot of photo's and archives pulls up a whole month at a time... this way it's only one post at a time.

This first group pretains to actors and autographs. (a ummm.. past time of mine) (a few tv actors i've met) (Harry Carey Jr) (waiting for the show!) (some photos from an autograph show) (Turhan Bey) (a letter from Red Skelton) (some of my autographs) (some actors I've helped at shows) (Turhan Bey) (Angela Lansbury) (LOTR Convention) (handprints at Mann's)

This second group are "writers questions" that used to be asked over in aol.. answered by me.. who is NOT a writer, but felt compelled to put my 2 cents in anyway... (Why do you write? Is it because you want attention, or is there some other reason you are driven to do this? What draws you to this craft?) (Is there one character that you have created that is truly you and not just a "shard?" What makes that character totally you and where does that character fit into your fiction?) (dustjackets and drawings) (Where do you begin when you start a novel? Do you begin at the beginning or with the characters? Or do you begin with the setting? Where do you begin and do you start with a game plan?) (What is a Writer?.) (names of characters) (Have you ever created a character based on someone you know? Was it because you liked the person, or disliked the person? How was the character different or like the person you based him or her on?)

The next group of posts lets you know more about me. I'm old.. and have memories, what more can i say? (remembering a special christmas as a kid) (a writing I did.. unlike me) (the band I played in) (the best photo I ever took) (meeting a homeless man) (walking around Paramont with antlers) (drawings) (remembering old television shows) (de and me.. a prank) (me and my drums) (me and Kirby the tiger) (cowboy town at warner bros lots) (pranks) (convention pranks) (the day De got his star) (places I've lived) (the animal inside of you) (how I got the name DesLily) (star polishing in hollywood) (Where I'm from.. an excellent meme)

This last group are all DeForest Kelley Stories.. either they are about me and De.. or stories told by De at conventions about his days as a cowboy. (me and de) (me and de) (me and de) (me and de) (de) (de) (de) (de) (me and De)

I realize few will click on the links... and that's ok. But for anyone who's interrested.. they're here.

Pam: thank you for clicking some of the links.. and enjoying them! woohoo!

Kiyotoe.. you know you don't have to click them! sheesh... I even put them in catagories, so if someone like actors they choose that one or if they want deforest stories that one..

I figured I'd be lucky if one or two folks clicked maybe one or two links each... I thought I cropped them down pretty good since I have nearly 500 posts now! I didn't choose any from the last couple of months.. just early posts.

I've been coming to your blog for a bit now. There was a period of time when I couldn't post a comment for whatever reason, but I still visited it. I've enjoyed your writings. There are alot of actors that we both enjoy watching. Have a safe and Happy New Year.
