Patience ....
Me and Patience: two words that I never put together.
Once, some time ago, I wrote a list of the "series" books I was reading. Mostly for myself to keep track...
This time I thought I would write the names of the books I am waiting for to be released.
Books, from series, I am waiting for with possible release dates:
Kristin Cashore: Fire (Oct. 2009) (sequel to Graceling)
Nancy Farmer: The Islands of the Blessed (Oct. 2009) Bk 3 of the Sea Trolls
Lisa Mantchev: Eyes Like Stars (July 2009) bk. 1
James A Owens: The Shadow Dragons (Oct. 2009) bk 4 Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica
J. Scott Savage: Farworld: Waterkeep (Sept. 2009) bk 2 Farworld: Landkeep
John Marco: Starfinder (May 2009) bk 1
Angie Sage: Septimus Heap:The Magical Papers (June 2009) bk4 Septimus Heap series
Laurie R King: The Language of Bees (April 2009) bk 9 Mary Russell series
Sarah Prineas: The Magic Thief: Lost (May 2009) bk2 of The Magic Thief
Michael Scott: THe Sorceress (May 2009) bk 3 of The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
Jody Lynn Nye: A Forthcoming Wizard (April 2009) bk 2 An Unexpected Apprentice

Stephen R Donaldson: The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant unknown release date
Elizabeth Haydon: the Lost Chronicles of Ven Polypheme bk 4 unknown release date
Galen Beckett: book 2 of The Magicians and Mrs. Quent no release date
Henry H Neff: The Fiend and the Forge: Book 3 of The Tapestry (Sept. 2009)
Patricia C Wrede: bk 2 of Thirteenth Child no title, no release date
(most of my books are packed away so I am betting that this is not a total list)
Remind me again how much I like books that are a series ~

Oh my gosh, Pat, that's some list! It's something that doesn't happen to me a lot to be honest... waiting for new books to come out that is. Though I can see it might be an issue in the future. And wow... what a lovely photo of BOOKS. Us bookaholics are pretty pathetic when even a *photo* of books makes us drool. Heehee.
Cath: tell me about it! I can't believe I am in the midst of that many series!! To make matters worse my brain power of remembering by the time the next book comes out is dwindling !! argh!
And you tell me I'm bad about books! lol...I have many of those on my list too...or at least the first book in the series on my list! I have a copy of Starfinder for review and I can't wait to read that one. I'm scheduled to review it on June 1st. And I just requested an ARC of Fire, but I have to read Graceling first :p I may just do a post like this too! It looks fun :)
Chris: you can request an ARC??? wow.. cool beans!
amazon is still saying 1-3 weeks delivery for the latest Fablehaven book...i haven't ordered it and doubt I will be putting in another order before I move.
My list is probably even longer than that... That's the fun thing about series! I never catch up!
I get a daily email from shelfawareness.com that always has ARCs available for request! You should sign up....Fire was one of the books there the other day :D
My "waiting on" list is ginormous too. Congrats on your award!
DesLily, the first book in the Mary Russell series is a free ebook until 4/15, in case you want it in electronic form. It's at TheBeeisFree.com. And I think I can snag you a copy of The Language of Bees--I'll email you.
Congratulations on the awards! It's well-deserved :)
As for the books, on the plus side it's good to have things to look forward to :P
Ohhh a fourth James A Owen book, I can't wait! I just read book 2 and have book 3 for the Readathon. Will check out the Patricia Wrede ones.
Look! Someone else reads the same books as me! I'm looking forward to most of these books (at least the ones that haven't been released and whose author/series I have read before.
