This was fun, Pat.....You illustrating what you are reading and also some of your "bargain" books---That Was Great! I think I said at another time that Errol Flynn's book, which I read back in 1961, was an important book for me. I cannot remember exactly why now, but at the time, I was going through a major transition in my life and something about his book was very very illuminating and helpful. I'd have to go back and read it to tell you what that was....!

Oh, wow, Pat I was so excited to see you do a vlog. It was totally unexpected as I was making my blogging rounds. :) I hope you enjoy your new books. The Sherlock Holmes book is very nice. I would also probably buy it just to have it.

"Can't even remember what this one's about. All I know is I wanna read it"

*bursts out laughing* That describes WAY too many books on my pile. XD I'm so glad I'm not the only one who 'suffers' from that!

And not knowing where to put your books! I never do either. XD I got slightly better at it when I stopped using the webcam and so couldn't watch myself 'live'. (It always flips the image no matter what I do and I already have directional issues, so the image I'm looking at not doing what I want just frustrated the heck out of me.)

And oh my gosh that Sherlock book looks awesome. And I so hadn't expected to see you do a vlog, Pat. What a lovely thing to wind my day down with! <3 Now I have a voice to go along with the words of your blog. ^-^

Holy crap, your used bookstore is obviously frequented by true book lovers, because all those books you picked up from there are in great shape, which is especially rare with trade paperbacks. Can't believe you got Riding Rockets and the Flynn book for a buck and they both look that great. And "Riding Rockets" is a really fun title.

The Holmes book looks awesome. I think that double column style is fascinating and the illustrations make that a true treasure, more so at $3.

It cracks me up, seems like these vlogs often start with, "I'll probably never do this again". LOL!

You did great, don't pack it in already. Your camera quality is great, by the way.
