Journey to the Moon
Since many seemed interested in the fact that I had ordered From Earth To The Moon I thought I'd post my old website here on my blog...
It's a day in my life I will never, ever, forget.........
August 13th, 2005.. A day that dreams are made of.
Gathered in one room were many Astronauts from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo flights into space. A number of them stood on the moon looking back at the "Blue Planet" known as Earth, while others took space walks, learned to dock at Skylab, and lived in space for countless days. They are my "Hero's" one and all.

These are the men I'd run home from school to watch blastoff or splashdown. I'd cry with each successful mission.
These are the men that walked on the moon. ... a real science fiction story come true!
These are my hero's.

Oh very neat!
w.o.n.d.e.r.f.u.l post.
I so have to agree -- they were/are heroes.
tink: thanks... hard to believe I was still in High School when Alan Shephard made his flight!
Pamela: Amazing people, all of them. I can't even imagine the courage they had to sit on top of those rockets when no one knew what would happen!
WOW ! Very cool... And very informative !!! Speaking of "Space: The Final Frontier", I was HEARTBROKEN to learn that Majel Rodenberry has passed away at
age 76. (Mrs. Gene Rodenberry, AKA Nurse Chapel on Star Trek).
The only historical thing that happened when I was in high school was 9/11 :(
Daniel: Yes, I hate hearing about them passing... I had forgotten how much younger Majel was than Shatner, Nimoy and DeForest.
Tink: Sometimes I forget just how young you are! lol..
So much AMAZING Historu, Pat! How wonderful that you havw created this tribute to these Brave Brave Men....!
